Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the MeetOnce app and website provided by LUDGI Inc. (주식회사 럿지, the "Company"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Service Overview
MeetOnce is a profile-based cultural exchange request board for people who live in Korea or are interested in Korean culture. Users create profiles, browse cultural exchange requests, and start conversations through proposals or message credits.
MeetOnce is not a dating, marriage brokerage, employment, lodging, travel brokerage, financial transaction, or identity guarantee service. The Company does not guarantee offline meetings, relationships, conversation outcomes, or the accuracy of user-provided information.
2. Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- Users must provide accurate birth year or date of birth and must not misrepresent age or identity.
- A person prohibited from using the service by law or previously restricted by the Company may not use the service.
3. Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure. If account compromise, unauthorized use, or a security incident is suspected, users should notify the Company immediately. The Company may request additional verification for security, legal compliance, or user protection.
4. Profiles, Posts, Proposals, and Chats
- A profile is required to participate in the cultural exchange request board. Users must not post false information, stolen photos, impersonation, or misleading details.
- Posts and proposals should be related to cultural exchange, such as language exchange, life in Korea, cultural interests, local questions, or conversation topics.
- Chat may be opened when a user spends message credits directly or when a user accepts a received proposal and enters a chat room.
- The Company may change display, recommendation, filtering, and ranking methods for service quality, safety, and legal compliance.
5. Message Credits and Payments
- Message credits are consumable digital items used to open or enter conversations within MeetOnce.
- Current in-app purchase products are consumable Message Credits 10, 30, and 70. MeetOnce does not currently provide auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Payments are processed through app marketplace payment systems such as the Apple App Store. The Company does not store raw card numbers or payment method details.
- Message credits granted after purchase are deducted when used and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law or app marketplace policy.
- Payment errors, duplicate payments, and refund requests are handled under app marketplace policies and applicable law.
6. AI Features
MeetOnce may provide AI features such as translation, cultural context explanation, reply suggestions, and conversation topic suggestions. AI output is for reference only and may not always be accurate or complete. Users should not rely solely on AI output for important legal, medical, financial, safety, or other critical decisions.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in the following conduct.
- Impersonation, false profiles, stolen photos, or misleading information
- Sexual exploitation, inappropriate contact with minors, or attempts to do so
- Hate, harassment, stalking, threats, discrimination, or incitement of violence
- Pornography, illegal recordings, illegal goods, fraud, phishing, or spam promotion
- Improper requests or disclosure of personal information, contact details, or payment information
- Security bypass, automated access, crawling, reverse engineering, or system abuse
- Commercial advertising, recruitment, brokerage, or transactions unrelated to cultural exchange
- Any violation of law, these Terms, or community safety standards
8. Reports, Blocks, and Safety Actions
Users may report or block inappropriate content or users. Based on reports, automated or manual review, legal requests, or operational needs, the Company may remove content, limit posting, restrict messages, restrict credit features, suspend accounts, or delete accounts.
9. User Content Rights
Users generally retain rights to the profiles, photos, posts, proposals, messages, and other content they create. Users grant the Company a non-exclusive right to use such content as needed to provide, display, store, transmit, translate, review for safety, handle reports, back up, and improve the service.
Users must have all necessary rights to the content they upload or transmit and must not infringe the rights of others.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy includes collected data, purposes, retention, processors, international transfers, and user rights.
11. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
The Company may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the service for operational, technical, legal, or safety reasons. Material changes may be announced in the app or on the website. Free, beta, or experimental features may be changed without prior notice.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The Company does not guarantee user content, conversations between users, offline meetings, external links, or third-party services.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damages caused by events outside its reasonable control, communication network failures, app marketplace failures, cloud provider failures, or user fault unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
- This section may be limited by mandatory consumer protection laws.
13. Account Termination and Deletion
Users may request account deletion through the app or support. When an account is deleted, profile, post, and conversation data will be deleted or retained in a limited way under the Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations. The Company may restrict or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
The Company may revise these Terms due to changes in law, service structure, or operations. The effective date and key changes will be posted in the app or on the website. Continued use after the change may be treated as acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Company and users will be handled by the competent court or consumer dispute resolution process under applicable law.
